Regina was a business owner, wife and mother for a number of years before finally making her dream a reality. Ever since visiting a clay studio in her elementary school years, Regina has been fascinated with the idea of making something out of a simple lump of clay. She has been held captive to her art by the endless possibilities of shaping, glazing, and firing. She is primarily self-taught with a few classes here and there, but the love of pottery and a desire to learn has driven her to become the artist she is today. Re-purposing discarded clay and other items allow her to explore mosaics, as well. Regina has worked in Islamorada, Florida, in the arts district, where she made pottery on the wheel, hand built pottery, and sold her work. She now has a working studio on her property in Marietta, Georgia where she enjoys many hours of "clay time".
